At the end of 2021, Montgomery Street Partners held its first equity close of ~$110 million for MSP GP Fund III, its third GP real estate private equity fund, targeting $300 million in total commitments, which will provide up to $3 billion of investment capacity. The fund will invest in many of the same platforms and sectors as preceding funds, including land lease communities, unsubordinated ground leases, single-family residential for rent, multifamily, and healthcare oriented real estate.
