Mr. McCabe has senior responsibility for the overall management of MSP funds and oversight of sourcing and managing MSP’s investments. Mr. McCabe serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee for MSP.
Mr. McCabe co-founded MSP in 2013, where he is responsible for overseeing and managing MSP’s investment initiatives. Prior to joining MSP, Mr. McCabe spent 20 years at JPMorgan holding several positions in the Investment Banking Division, including Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking.
Mr. McCabe is an executive council member of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center and serves on the REIT Investment Funds Advisory Board for the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin. Mr. McCabe is a former member of the Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California at Berkeley and previous director of Columbia Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CXP), Monogram Residential Trust, Inc (NYSE: MORE), RREEF Property Trust, Inc. (RPT), and Special Diversified Opportunities, Inc. (NASDQ: SDOI). Mr. McCabe has served as a director of Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (NYSE: SHO) since April, 2016, and as a director of RREEF America REIT II, Inc. since late 2016. Additionally he serves on MSP portfolio company boards including Cove Communities, GLR, Vitrian, Lumen Point, and as an advisory board member of White Oak Partners.
