At the end of 2020, Montgomery Street Partners closed on additional equity into its latest GP real estate private equity fund totaling ~$190 million and raised additional co-investment equity of ~$400 million for investment alongside the fund. This is MSP’s third investment vehicle, and second fund which will invest in many of the same platforms and sectors as its first fund including land lease communities, unsubordinated ground leases, single-family residential for rent, Multifamily, and seniors housing. To date, MSP GP Fund II has committed a little over half of the fund’s equity commitments.
